With just a short walk to some of the UK’s best beaches, the local area boasts stunning scenic views and engaging activities that promise summers of endless fun.
About our home
Appleby’s bright and spacious rooms include a large living area with oak floors, a statement curved sofa and an up-to-the minute Contura log burning stove. The glass walls at the front and back fill the room with natural light, and offer a scenic backdrop of the rolling hills of North Cornwall - from the spire of St. Minver down to the coast near Port Isaac.
After long days exploring all that the neighbourhood has to offer, there is ample room for our guests to relax in front of the log burner, and to enjoy the living area’s surround sound system and 3D HDTV.
The large dining area adjacent to the living area features a large engineered Ligne Roset table, illuminated by plenty of natural light from the glass doors leading to the balcony. The table seats 10 - perfect for memorable family meals. Our luxurious dining area is the ideal setting to enjoy an evening meal with friends, or a relaxing afternoon on the stylish chairs while reading a book from the well-stocked bookshelf.
Our guests are also welcome to use the fully equipped kitchen, featuring a combination oven and modern induction hob, perfect for cooking fresh produce from the well-known Trebetherick Stores directly opposite Appleby.
Casual breakfasts are a delight at our stylish breakfast bar, perfect for enjoying a coffee from the Tassimo coffee machine.
For those who would rather be out than in, you can sit on our balcony for a relaxing sun-downer or lounge in the spacious, enclosed garden and watch the sunset. Appleby’s large balcony overlooks the garden, with steps down to the sunken patio terrace area featuring comfortable outdoor furniture and a large heated outdoor shower - specifically designed for a quick post-surf recovery!
Guests are welcome to enjoy any of the garden activities and board games provided. At night, lights illuminate the balcony and patio, allowing you to make the most of long summer evenings relaxing with friends and family.
Appleby is a pet-free holiday home, so it is suitable for those with allergies.
Location
Appleby is located in Trebetherick, one of Cornwall's most desirable villages. This peaceful location offers an opportunity to relax and take in the beauty of North Cornwall, whilst being just a short stroll from great restaurants, the South West Coast Path and the idyllic beaches of Greenaway, Polzeath and Daymer Bay.
Bedrooms
The Master Bedroom is located on the mezzanine at the top of the house, offering direct access to the living room, library area and balcony overlooking the garden. This luxury room features a king size bed with a minstrel's gallery overlooking the living area and glass wall with views of the countryside. The port hole window bathes the room with natural light and reveals a view of the night sky in the evenings. The en suite provides a luxurious bath to soak away in solitude. Large white drapes separate the living room and bedroom areas.
Bedroom 2 offers a king size bed with a dressing table, generous fitted wardrobes and a spacious en suite wet room and shower. Guests love the statement mirror in this room - like a silver Cornish sun rising from the sea.
Bedroom 3 is a twin room enjoying private access via its own patio doors to the sunken patio terrace and garden. The room also features a showpiece wood-effect en suite wet room and shower.
Bedrooms 4 and 5 are light and airy twin rooms on the ground floor with views over the front of the property. They share a large family bathroom and both have fitted wardrobes, book racks, blinds and curtains to ensure the best sleep even for our smallest guests.
